Blog Cramps – Changing Focus to YouTube

I have decided to stop posting on my blog so much and put my efforts towards my YouTube channel and Twitter account.  I have been working on this Blog for about 4 months and I have not seen a single increase in traffic.  I know that is not a long time but I just don’t see it going anywhere.  I seem to get a lot more views on my YouTube channel along with comments, plus I enjoy making videos and commentaries!  If you were watching this blog please use the links below to follow my YouTube channel or Twitter account.  I may still post here and there, but probably not too often anymore – I really want to focus on my other projects. Thanks for checking this blog out if you did!

ImGame Social Gaming Network

ImGame is an interesting mobile application that works like other social media apps but is geared specifically for gamers.  Check out some details below:

“ImGame is a new mobile app that allows users to add friends and check into games.  ImGame is creating a new social network for gamers, by gamers, to keep all of your friends in sync with who’s playing what, and when.

ImGame has the following features:

  • See what your friends are playing, at any time. Get a visual history of what you and your friends have been playing, on any console.
  • No more “just missing” the gaming session.  Too many times we’ve rushed to get online only to find out your friends just stopped playing.  With push notifications you are notified the second a friend checks in.
  • With Pwnerships, the user with the most check ins to a game has bragging rights.  Only you can check in to “de-pwn” them.
  • Users can collect tokens by doing various tasks through the ImGame network, checking in to specific games on specific days, checking in with friends, or even on to specific consoles.

Who are we: We are just a few guys who love gaming and saw a huge flaw in the way we played.  All too often we would try and schedule a gaming time and end up missing each other.  It would be 15 minutes after a friend signed off, or I would be watching TV with nothing to do, not knowing that 3 of my friends were playingGears of War at that exact time.  ImGame remedies that.  If your friend starts to play Gears and checks in, you would get a notification telling you to get to curb stompin!”

Global Agenda Gameplay Videos

While I wait for BF3, Skyrim and Diablo 3 I decided to check out Global Agenda with a friend of mine.  It is not as bad as I thought it would be!  If I were playing alone it would be pretty boring I would imagine.  Check out the video up top for some a look at the games instanced team dungeon mission type things.  Check out the youtube channel for more videos!

Hitman: Absolution – New Gameplay Trailer

This is the game series that influenced me to chose “hitman” as my nickname and ever since I have been deemed hitmanjaret, or hitman.  I am surprised I have neglected the news on this game for so long.  Needless to say I am extremely excited for the new release “Absolution” and will definitely be purchasing it day one and playing it until the wee hours of the night.  Check out the new trailer above!  See more videos at their youtube channel.

Team Fortress 2 Scout Video

Spent some time in Team Fortress 2 lately running around as a scout.  I love the speed of them and also love the Force-A-Nature weapon you can find.  The knock back it gives to players can be hilarious sometimes.  If you are a fan of TF2 or the Scout class you should give it a watch.  Thanks!  Don’t forget to subscribe to the youtube channel if you liked it!

Battlefield 3 Epic Kill Streak

This guy gets a butt load of kills straight away in this round.  Watch it to see the action.  Also, check out their channel for more good gameplay videos.

Portal 2 DLC Coming Wednesday!

“Wednesday October 5. That will be the day in which the Portal 2 Peer Review DLC will be released. The free mission pack will extend Atlas and Peabody’s co-op adventure and add a new challenge mode for single player and co-op maps.” Click here for the full article at PC Gamer

NOTE: I also have been hearing a lot of talk about the game actually being released now and is currently playable. I have not had time to test it yet so I can’t confirm.

Battlefield 3 – Beta – Destruction Tests and C4 Kills

Tried my luck at some demolitions in the Battlefield 3 Beta recently!  I managed to a few satisfying kills but ended up testing the destruction in various spots around Operation Metro instead.  I was a little disappointed at the overall lack of destruction but was impressed at the spots Dice chose to be destructible.  Some times it can totally change the dynamic of the battle giving players more room to setup defenses or allowing attackers new routes towards their objectives.  Subscribe to my youtube channel if want!  Thanks.
