My Brother (Venesectrixzero) and I teamed up last night to destroy some faces in the BF3 Beta. Map is Operation Metro! This video has only a few clips from hours of footage I took,
the part when we attack site B underground and hold it was one of the highlights of the night.
NOTE: I don’t have my mic on “listen”, I am actually using headphones the reason you hear me talk in the background is because my brother’s speakers are so damn loud it is
coming through his mic and back through my speakers which fraps is recording through all win7 sounds.
Sweet! I still watch the original a lot, sometimes for the music alone! MORTAL KOMBATTTTTT DA DUND DHADAUND DHAUDAN!
“New Line, in conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, is producing a new Mortal Kombat film, 14 years after their last adaptation of the popular video game franchise. Kevin Tancharoen, the man responsible for the popular web-series Mortal Kombat: Legacy (pictured), will be directing. “I’ve always been a huge fan of the games,” Tancharoen tells EW. His first Mortal Kombat project was a proof-of-concept video meant to be shown only to studios, but which was accidentally posted to YouTube by none other than himself. “I was mortified at first because I thought I was going to be in a mess of trouble with Warner Bros.” (You can check out the video below.)”

Decided to make a gameplay commentary for the Battlefield 3 Beta. I have never recorded any time of commentary before but I like to watch other peoples commentaries and figured with Battlefield 3 and Diablo 3 on the way it may be fun to give it a shot. I may do one more in the beta and hopefully a lot more once the full game is released! If you give it a listen let me know what you think. I managed to get into some EA Test servers this morning and record about 15 minutes of Caspian Border gameplay. It was a hell of a lot more fun than Operation Metro and a lot more of what I was expecting out of Battlefield 3! I can’t wait to get this game. Keep a look out for Part 2 soon, which has a bit more action then this video.
EDIT: I also wanted to note the part when I was the tank gunner and the tank is glitching out everywhere is due to the fact that the server was having major issues, not the game itself. I joined a different server shortly after that and that laggy/sluggish crap was non-existent!
I finally got to try out the new Battlefield game last night! The game is currently in early Beta mode and will go into normal beta tomorrow. At this time the only map we can play is Operation Metro but it’s split into a few fairly large portions which can make for some interesting fire fights. I am disappointed there are no vehicles in the beta however, seems a little stupid, but at least we get to play it I guess. The video is about 8 and half minutes long and consists of me mainly getting my ass handed to me, haha. Check the video out anyway if you want to see some more BF3 action.
I was a little bored tonight and decided to do some messing around in Photoshop. I never know when I am finished with designs like the one above, I could probably continue to add to it forever. The possibilities are endless, but I liked where I ended up here and decided to be done with this thing. I think it looks like glass shattering or a blizzard with lights. I should of made it larger for a wallpaper or something, maybe I will make a new and larger one like it for my computer background. Click on it for the full size version or check out the Random Design page to see some other junk.
Well Blizzard decided to announce today Diablo 3 will be delayed until early 2012. As stated on their website “While this news might not be a complete surprise, I know that many of you were hopeful that Diablo III would ship this year. We were too. However, this week we pulled together people from all of the teams involved with the game to decide whether we felt it would be ready before the end of December, and we grudgingly came to the conclusion that it would not. Ultimately, we feel that to deliver an awesome Diablo sequel that lives up to our expectations and yours as well, we should take a little more time and add further polish to a few different elements of the game”
I can say I am not too surprised. At least we will get more beta time it sounds like and more opportunities to get an invite. Head over to the D3 Site to get the full read.
Today Blizzard decided to start off the closed beta of Diablo 3! Rumor has it invites have only gone out to press and media so far. Reports are showing around only about 60 people actively playing the beta. In a forum post from a blizzard employee they stated they will continue to send out invites as needed and once the servers are stable and can handle more traffic. This is good news for us who have not received an invite yet, we may still be in the running! I sure hope to receive an invite soon! Check out the forum post here for more information directly from Blizzard.
Well we finally have a date! I’ll be honest and say I am a little disappointed that it is pretty much at the end of the month and I believe it has been announced that the beta ends on October 10th. This doesn’t give us a whole lot of time to play it – but at least we get to and it will be a blast. I believe those who pre-ordered it on Origin will get to play on the 27th, but I haven’t found a source to confirm this yet. Oh well, in 10 days we will all be playing BF3!
