“Wednesday October 5. That will be the day in which the Portal 2 Peer Review DLC will be released. The free mission pack will extend Atlas and Peabody’s co-op adventure and add a new challenge mode for single player and co-op maps.” Click here for the full article at PC Gamer
NOTE: I also have been hearing a lot of talk about the game actually being released now and is currently playable. I have not had time to test it yet so I can’t confirm.
Well we finally have a date! I’ll be honest and say I am a little disappointed that it is pretty much at the end of the month and I believe it has been announced that the beta ends on October 10th. This doesn’t give us a whole lot of time to play it – but at least we get to and it will be a blast. I believe those who pre-ordered it on Origin will get to play on the 27th, but I haven’t found a source to confirm this yet. Oh well, in 10 days we will all be playing BF3!
“With the Beta tantalizingly close, Blizzard continues adding to their new Diablo 3 Community Site. This afternoon we got a glimpse of each classes’Resource System, complete with animated globes! Though this information is generally already known, by Blizzard posting an official page on the topic it seems the function of each system is finalized. Each system specifically supports the classes’ generic role in combat, though doesn’t completely prevent the possibility of creative, wild builds.”

Well my concerns about BF3 are pretty much gone after watching this new gameplay video! Check it out, this game can’t come soon enough.
I spent quite a bit of time mapping in Portal 1 right before the release of Portal 2. I learned a ton on the mechanics of mapping with Valves Hammer Editor and the structure of Portal maps. If you are a fan of custom Portal 1 maps or custom maps in general click the link below to check it out.
Thinkingwithportals.com is an awesome website with constant flow of custom maps coming in. Hopefully I will finish my Portal 2 map one of these days, been too busy!
